| Australian libraries play an important role in the history of services to provide government information to the public. In the age of e government, this role is becoming more and more important. On one hand, the Internet has not been popularized, and libraries become citizens actual access points to government information. On the other hand, there is a gap between the development of e government and the information literacy of citizens, and users need special help from librarians in using electronic government information. Australian governments have actively interaction and good relationship with libraries. Their practices in this field are regarded as fine examples to other countries.9 refs. |

| 在澳大利亚向公民提供政府信息的历史中，图书馆扮演着重要的角色。电子政务时代，这一角色不但没有削弱而且有所增强。一方面网络没有广泛普及，图书馆成为公民事实上的政府信息访问点；另一方面电子政务的发展与公民信息素质之间还存在明显差距，公民在获取政府电子信息时还需要图书馆员的特别帮助。澳大利亚一些政府机构积极与公共图书馆建立联系和互动，被其他国家视为这一方面的典范。参考文献9。 |
