Abstract:
The authors outline the background and main functions of 24 hour self help urban community library system of the Shenzhen Library, with the focuses on the spirit of humane care, the applications of modern high technologies(including RFID, automatic book delivery, automatic book distribution, data communication and data processing, etc.)and the roles in the process of research and development.11 refs.
