Abstract:
It is essential to do research on the value of library to reveal the relationship between library performance and the total investment based on the identification and quantification of the value of library to individual users, organizations and communities as well. In this paper, the authors summarize the trends of research methodology for metrics of library value, and analyze the implication of the new evaluation models to libraries.24 refs.
