Abstract:
The librarian profession has been existing for more than 200 years, but it is still under slow development, and its deprofessionalizaiton is now in discussion. This article first discusses the definition and characteristics of deprofessionalization of librarians, and then describes the deprofessionlalization of librarians in UK, USA, Japan as well as China. As the consequence of deprofessionalization, the libraries will possibly lose their core competitiveness, and see the attenuation of librarianship as a career. Such factors as the library financial pressure, the impact of network environment, the restriction of existing system as well as the disconnection between professional education and the practice needs are main causes of deprofessionalization of librarians. Based on above analysis, this article suggestes some countermeasures to prevent the deprofessionalization, including establishing qualification authentication system, creating a lifelong learning environment for librarians, being cautious in core business outsourcing, and transforming the professional education of library science. 6 figs. 70 refs.

      图书馆员职业化经历了至少两百年的时间。本文针对近年出现的图书馆员去职业化的理论思潮与现象,阐述了去职业化的概念,对英国、美国、日本以及中国的图书馆员去职业化现象进行了描述。研究发现,图书馆员去职业化虽然有利于提高图书馆的工作效率,但也可能带来图书馆核心竞争力丧失、图书馆职业被淡化等问题。图书馆员去职业化主要是由图书馆的财政压力、网络环境的冲击、现有制度的制约以及专业教育与实际工作需要脱节等原因造成。提出建立职业资格认证制度、营造图书馆员终身学习环境、慎重对待核心业务外包、变革图书馆学专业教育等防止图书馆员去职业化的对策。图6。参考文献70。
