| In the 21st century,research topics in library science in China will include technical and non-technical ones.The former will cover applictions of new technologies in libraries and their derivative library new technologies,new ideas and new plans.The latter will cover library organisation structures, social functions and environmental changes resulting from the application of new technologies.22 refs.
