      美国学者David Luenberger的《信息科学》一书是21世纪初一部重要的信息科学著作。全书共5大部分22章，装帧考究、内容丰富、结构严谨。全书的总体框架与结构基于信息的5个“E”：Entropy（熵）、Economics（经济学）、Encryption（加密）、Extraction（抽取）、Emission（发射）。这5个“E”不仅是本书5大部分的标题，而且在各自属下的章节中得到发挥和展开。本书存在对信息检索论述过于简单，对信息用户的关注不足等缺点。参考文献13。
英文摘要:
David G. Luenbergers Information Science is an important work in information science in the early twenty first century. The overall framework and structure are based on five Es of information: Entropy, Economics, Encryption, Extraction and Emission. They are not only the titles of the chapters, but are also elaborated in respective chapters. However, the part on information retrieval is too simple, and the author didnt pay sufficient attention to information users. 13 refs.
