| In the networked environment, document information in academic libraries is sharable, and the social service to the public is developing. Especially, the social services of American academic libraries are more mature. The authors analyze the present situation of social services of American academic libraries from these aspects of social service objects, social cooperation programs, study supporting services and special services. They also propose some advices for the development of social services of academic libraries in China. 2 tabs. 11 refs. |
