               of reading energy aggregation under the complex reading situation which centers on readers’
               reaction structure, exploring the scientific method of integrating reading resources, seeking the
               constructional path of the reading promotion efficiency structure which is more closely matched
               to the readers’ needs, and playing a more constructive role in the process of young adults’ reading
               behavior.


               7  Deficiencies and prospects

               This study observed the overall change of reading behavior among young adults in the omnimedia
               environment and found the transition of reading behavior, verified the new reading behavior trend
               of hybrid reading through data analysis, combing the reading behavior pattern, and expounding
               the new reading service scene. However, this study is still insufficient. First, due to the study
               conditions, the samples did not reach a random probability sampling, which might affect the
               validity of the results of the study. Second, the conclusions don’t strictly reflect the regular
               relationship between the relevant variables. Third, with the rapid development of information and
               communication technology, the omnimedia environment is still evolving. This study is based on
               the current point in time to explore, which belongs to the research on present situation.Therefore,
               the conclusion is inevitably temporary.
                 Considering the burgeoning development of hybrid reading as a common phenomenon,
               however, relevant research has not yet been sufficiently conducted. Future research topics are
               suggested as follows: the occurrence mechanism of readers’ transition from traditional reading
               model to hybrid reading model, the flowing mechanism of information resources and other
               resources in the process of hybrid reading, as well as the individual differences in behaviors of
               hybrid reading.
