affective experiences between male users and female users. There is also no significant difference
(Sig.=0.523) between groups of people with different levels of education. But we find differences
(Sig.=0.001) in the affective experiences between users of different ages. These differences are
particularly significant in four specific affections of sadness, anger, interest and happiness (see
Figure 1).

Figure 1. Differences of four affections of sadness, anger, happiness and interest among the different age groups.
In the group of the 15-20 years old, 12.5% of users have experienced the affection of sadness.
As the age grows, the number of users that have experienced the affection gradually decreases
(8.1% of the 21-25 years old group, 4.7% of the 26-30 years old group, 4.1% of the 31-40
years old group, and 0% of the 40-50 years old group and the 50-60 years old group). In the
groups of the 15-20 years old and the 41-50 years old, there are the highest proportions of users
that have experienced the affection of anger, which are 12.5% and 16.7% respectively. However,
in the groups of the 21-25 years old, the 26-30 years old and the 31-40 years old, there are
respectively 9.3%, 8.5% and 7.1% of users that have experienced the affection of anger, and the
difference is not significant. In the groups of the 21-25 years old, the 26-30 years old and the
31-40 years old, there are respectively 15.1%, 14% and 8.2% of users that have experienced
the affection of interest; in the other three age groups, there are no users that have experienced
the affection. This suggests that users of the 21-30 years old group experience more affection
of interest. In all the affective experience, happiness has the biggest discrepancy. In the group
of the 31-40 years old, there are more than half of the users that have experienced happiness
(52%); but in other age groups, there are only about one-third of users that have experienced
happiness respectively.
