cloud. The public cloud is mainly oriented to scientific research institutions and the public, while
the private cloud is oriented to government departments and special projects and institutions of
significance. The National Smart Library System will be based on the cloud infrastructure to
achieve highly integrated operation and management so that libraries do not need to build separate
systems.
The construction of integrated storage of knowledge across the network largely includes
two aspects. The first one is to set up the “cloud knowledge production center” by applying
technologies such as semantic web, AI, intelligent indexing and machine learning. Through the
open interface of “cloud smart library”, the one-stop support and service of knowledge acquisition,
production and processing will be supplied to libraries at all levels, and the knowledge storage
management system with unified standards, data sharing and effective supervision will be
built. On this basis, the supporting capacity of knowledge management and service should be
continuously enhanced, other subjects should be gradually attracted into the knowledge service
community, and all sources of knowledge production of smart libraries should be covered. The
