submitting papers, which is the best reflection of this dimension of evaluation.
(3) Digital experiments. Digital humanities projects often have experimental properties, and
many universities have also built digital humanities laboratories. On the one hand, it is necessary
to evaluate the scientificity and suitability of the design of digital humanities experiments. On
the other hand, from the perspectives of characteristics of experiments, they should be replicable
and verifiable. Therefore, it is necessary to test whether such experiments can be carried out and
verified by other researchers, and whether it is possible to repeat them.
(4) Platform construction. The database platform in digital humanities research results should
become an important factor in evaluation. Just as CBDB has become a landmark product or
achievement in digital humanities, it can be seen that applied products should be given more
attention. The evaluation of result display and application platforms can draw from traditional
dimensions of database evaluation, from the perspectives of architecture design, section setting,
function realization, user experience, and so on. In addition, it is necessary to focus on its
utilization rate, social influence, as well as actual benefits and social value.
(5) Education and training. In view of current education and training of digital humanities, most
of participants may be librarians, students, scholars, and practitioners in the field of the library,
information and archives, while a small proportion of participants are humanities scholars. On
the one hand, this indicator can encourage digital humanities projects to adopt more educational
and training methods, allowing more participants to understand digital humanities projects and
results, and enlarging the recognition and use of digital humanities theories and technologies. On
the other hand, it can enable the projects to conduct academic training from the perspective of
humanities scholars, focus more on them, thinking about how to help them to master relevant tools
and methods of digital technology, and incorporate them to participate deeply in digital humanities
research, which is the true objective of education and training. For example, by building digital
humanities platforms of data, tools and methods, they can be better embedded in interdisciplinary
support, allowing more humanities scholars to have the opportunity to train and use these tools and
methods.
2.3 Technicality: essential element
Digital information technology has a great impact on the resource types and research methods of
humanities research. Digital humanities is an interdisciplinary research field combining digital
technology and humanities [15] . Information technology, natural language processing technology,
semantic web technology, text mining technology and other technologies are applied in the
analysis of humanities data to help academic innovation and knowledge innovation in the field of
humanities. The technical evaluation of digital humanities is mainly reflected in such aspects as
digital methods, digital technology, and technological standardization.
(1) Digital methods. The exploration of humanities research can break through the limitations
