(1) Traditional reading pattern: They determine the objects of reading (usually paper books)
based on some relatively traditional factors (such as peer influence, others recommended), reading
independently, producing a sense of writing after reading, finding other books with the same author
and other behaviors in post-reading stage.
(2) Passive hybrid reading pattern: They determine reading objects (usually paper books,
occasionally e-books) based on relatively traditional factors (such as recommendations from
others, book lists/leaderboard recommendations, etc.), having a strong social orientation, doing
some offline reading activities in post-reading stage.
(3) Standard hybrid reading pattern: They determine the reading objects (including paper
books and e-books) according to a variety of factors (e.g. recommendations from others, book
lists/leaderboard recommendations, etc.). Sometimes, they determine the reading object through
preview, comparison and other means. They relatively finish reading independently, having some
social behaviors in post-reading stage (eg. post comments on social platforms, discuss with friends
offline, etc.).
