               and provide information support in the practice of information emergency planning . GAO Jinhu
               discussed the research object of information science on national security from the perspective of
               the practical work on national security information, concluded that the discipline system included
               the theories, practice, history and ideas of national security information, and emphasized that
               theories originated from practice, and history explained causes and patterns, and ideas could be

               refined into theories .
                 The above mentioned research discussed the development of information science from their
               respective perspectives, providing inspiration for us to comprehensively build the discipline
               system of information science. The author believes that the development of the discipline system
               of information science with Chinese characteristics should start from the holistic view of national
               security, meet the needs of national security and development, serve the goal of supporting national
               strategy and promoting social development, and build a large information science framework
               that meets the information needs of all sectors and industries. That framework requires all branch
               disciplines of information science to perform their own duties, and in the meantime exchange
               with and learn from each other. Therefore, information science under the view of macroscopic
               intelligence should be a discipline system that can meet the needs of national strategy, and covers
               various fields, such as science and technology, economy, agriculture, medicine, environment,
               energy, military affairs, security and national defense. These different fields of information
               science converge with each other in theories, approaches and technologies while performing their
               own functions, fully demonstrate their information capabilities and play the role of information
               in their respective fields, cooperate with each other in scientific research, actively work with
               scholars from various fields to overcome academic difficulties and undertake relevant national key
               research projects, so as to finally build a discipline system of information science with Chinese
               characteristics that plays an important role in national strategy.


               2.2 Academic system of information science featuring “integrity” and “expansion”

               The academic system aims to explain the research objects and development patterns of the
               discipline, and to propose theories and expertise in a systemic way. The academic system of a
               discipline consists of basic theories, basic principles, basic categories, academic propositions,
               logical elaborations and specialized knowledge. The academic system of information science
               is to take information as the object of theoretical and methodological research, and propose
               theories and expertise of information science in a systemic way, including: explaining the basic
               principles and categories of information science, refining and exploring the academic propositions
               and application fields of information science research, and exhibiting the ideology, historical
               features and knowledge system of information science. Therefore, the academic achievements of
               information science are problem oriented, using theories and approaches of information science to
